Requirement:

offices. |
Solution:
Internal fit-out included partitioning, internal doors,
Marmoleum floor covering, gas fired central heating
system, telephone & data systems, PA systems and
full Department of Education & Science specification
mechanical & electrical fitout. Externally the building
was finished with large architectural windows &
a deep fascia giving the building a distinctly modern
feel.
Roan Building Systems were also responsible for the
overall development of the Greenfield site from foundations,
car-parks, perimeter fencing, play areas & landscaping.
Roan Building Systems’s experience & state
of the art factory facilities enabled the company complete
the 2,500sq mtr project in 16weeks. RoanKabin were able
to manufacture & fitout the core building in the
factory, while simultaneously developing the site.
Minister Sean Haughey opens Grangegorman school
Roan Building Systems's Grangegorman Project has scored
air test rating of 4.38*. The new Educate Together school
was officially opened by Minister Sean Haughey recently.
According to current building regulations (Part L 2007)
'a performance level of 10m3/h/m2 represents a reasonable
upper limit for air permeability'. The Dept of Education
and Science has specified an upper limit for air permeability
of 5 m3/hr/m2 at 50 Pa, a far superior level than that
recommended in Part L. The Roan Building Systems Building
at Grangegorman, when pressure tested, achieved an impressive
result of 4.3 m3/hr/m2 at 50 Pa which exceeds all requirements
and contributes greatly to the Energy Efficiency of
the school.
*0 is the best result and 10 is the standard value to
comply with building regulations.
