Requirement:
Erin Go Bragh was a new formed club in the New
Littlepace area of Clonee, who had playing pitches
but no club house or changing rooms, but were
offered some space in the local school, Mary
Mother of
|
Hope. The club began to undertake the task to put changing
rooms in, but also part of the brief was to be able
to re-locate the building as the playing area was further
developed, part of the planning permission was to insert
a Rain water harvesting facilty.
Solution:
Roan Building Systems was successful in winning the
tendering process and sat down with the Client to supply
a State-of-the –art Modular building to accommodate
two senior dressing rooms with shower and toilet facility
and two juvenile dressing rooms that could be changed
by Folding wall into one large meeting room and full
shelved store/shop room. The requirement was for an
aesthetically pleasing robust finish that would meet
the rigorous demands of everyday use. With this in mind,
Roankabin combined durable materials with bright colour
schemes to ensure both of these expectations were fulfilled.
The internal specification included:
- High impact pre-finish plasterboard to all main walls.
- Moisture resistant white-rock wall lining in shower
rooms/ wet areas
- Heavy duty vinyl floor covering to main areas
- Anti-slip flooring to wet areas
- Dual immersion feeding anti vandal pump showers in
senior dressing rooms
- Robust yet modern toilet cubicles and disabled toilets
- Bench seating in all changing rooms and coat hooks
- Rain water harvesting system
- Folding doors wall to open room fully
- Shelving to store and shop shelving.
- Kitchen facility built away into wall.
Roan Building Systems worked closely with Clients contractor
to liaise and assist in supplying services to site and
pathway and handrails.
